IGNITE AWARD | JACK FRAKER 

With immense gratitude we recognize Jack Fraker as the recipient of the 2024 Ignite Award, which honors a business leader for their commitment to Cristo Rey Dallas and the Corporate Work Study Program. Jack Fraker is President, Global Head of Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets for Newmark. He is responsible for driving Newmark’s industrial & logistics business, primarily capital markets but also leasing. Jack has been part of numerous organizations and recognized with multiple awards like The Lifetime Achievement Award, Dallas Business Journal. His steadfast commitment and support from the beginning of CRD has played an integral role in the success and growth of the Corporate Work Study Program and Cristo Rey Dallas overall fostering its growth and impact. Jack is a longtime Board Member, part of the Jobs Committee, was a catalyst for job teams at founding job partner CBRE and now at Newmark. Jack is truly hands-on when it comes to his advocacy of Cristo Rey Dallas and frequently arranges campus tours and shares stories about CRD, students, and CWSP. One of the

greatest gifts he has done for Cristo Rey Dallas students is establish The Fraker Family Scholarship Fund which awards $20,000 each year to a senior entering college. His active involvement and personal commitment demonstrates his genuine dedication to the mission and success of CRD. We sincerely appreciate his dedication and are proud to acknowledge his invaluable contributions.



LUMINOUS AWARD | CHERYL AND RICHARD JOYNER

This year, we take great pleasure in presenting Cheryl and Richard Joyner with the Luminous Award, which recognizes a person who demonstrates passion and commitment to the mission of Cristo Rey Dallas.

Cheryl is a dedicated fundraising figure in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, having served in multiple organizations including her time as President of the Junior League of Plano, Gala Chair for the Jesuit Auction and school board member at Jesuit College Prep. Most recently she was named the 2023 Crystal Charity Ball Chair-Elect and 2024 Crystal Charity Ball Chair. Richard is currently a Managing Director at AlTi Tiedemann, a family office for multi-generational families, and is based in Dallas.  Previously, he spent 20 years at Tolleson Wealth Management, the last 6 years as its President.  He has received numerous industry awards, including recognition by Barron’s magazine as one of its “Top Independent Financial Advisors”.

Cheryl and Richard have been exceptionally active in the community for numerous years, and Cristo Rey Dallas has been fortunate to have the steadfast support of this  “Founding Family”. Their longstanding commitment has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of CRD. They both have served on the Development Committee and Capital Campaign Committee. Both were on the board with Richard serving as Board Chair and then as Board Chair Emeritus from 2021-2023. Richard was part of the Finance Committee and served as chair for the president search campaign, a responsibility crucial for the success and future of CRD. Their leadership and dedication in guiding this campaign were instrumental in shaping the direction of Cristo Rey Dallas. 

Cheryl and Richard have contributed to the success of Cristo Rey Dallas in more than one area with their support and advocacy throughout the years and we extend our sincere gratitude for everything they continue to do.
