Prayer plays an important role in the faith life of our students and staff at Cristo Rey Dallas.
Communal Prayer
We begin each day with daily prayer and announcements, live-streamed to the school. 2-3 times a semester, our school comes together for a community-wide prayer service, and on the first Friday of every month, a bilingual parent and staff rosary is held in the Catholic Foundation Chapel.
Mass and the Sacraments
All-school Masses happen once a month, with opportunities for week-day Masses throughout the school year. Not every member of our community is Catholic, and therefore Catholic Mass may not be part of everyone’s faith tradition. However, regardless of personal faith preference, Mass can be a time of prayer and reflection, and at Cristo Rey Dallas we believe that it is important to share that time together as a full community.
The Sacraments are signs of God’s grace in our lives. At CRD, there are regular opportunities for students, families, and staff to participate in Reconciliation and the Eucharist.
