Please read everything in this communication. There are reminders about the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation. I have also included updated information regarding tickets and parking, so please read carefully.
Baccalaureate Mass/Awards Ceremony
Date/Time: Thursday, June 6th at 5PM
Location: Cathedral Guadalupe – 2215 Ross Ave, Dallas, TX 75201
Parking: The Cathedral garage is located next to the Cathedral with entrances via Pearl Street or Crockett Street. Please tell the gate attendant you are with Cristo Rey.
Important instructions: Please arrive by 4:50 PM to ensure we can start Mass on time. Each student is allowed 5 guests.
Graduation Rehearsal (Students only)
Date/Time: Saturday, June 8th at 4PM
Location: Meyerson Symphony Center – 2301 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201
Parking: Parking is available in the Hall Arts Garage. There are multiple entrances that you can view on their website: https://hallarts.com/parking/. The most common entrances are at Munger or the entrance at Crockett & Flora (at the Cathedral). Valet parking is also available at the Munger entrance. There will be fees associated with each parking area.
Important Instructions: Students must arrive at 3:45PM and meet in the Horchow Hall room under the stage. We will take the 2024 Class Photo at 4PM. Students who are late will miss the group photo. There will be people to help direct them. They will need to arrive in their graduation attire and bring their cap, gown, stole, and any cords they will receive. Students are not allowed to use a personalized stole for the group picture or the graduation ceremony. They will not be leaving before the ceremony begins. Graduation

Tickets: Every family will receive 10 general admissions tickets. We will communicate with the students in the coming months how to pick up their tickets.
Important Instructions: For parents and guests, doors will open at 5:15pm. Please do not arrive any earlier than that. After the ceremony, there will be opportunities for photos. No balloons or horns are allowed at the Meyerson.
For both the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation, the students should wear semi-formal/Sunday best attire. No t-shirt, jeans, or tennis shoes are allowed.

Our students took part of the “Of Course Challenge” and made a great video this week. We love student-led projects and hope to see many more before the end of the school year. Thank you to S Bridget for moderating this fun video.

To honor Black History and inspire future change makers, the Dallas Mavericks are encouraging students to create and submit a visual medium that interprets the beliefs of past and present black leaders and how they inspired others to unite and join hands for justice. Five Grand Prize Winners will win a trip for two to Detroit, MI to visit historical sites as well as attend the Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons game. Winners art will also be displayed in the African American Museum of Dallas!

Hello, my name is Araceli and I am a licensed master social worker and serve as the Bilingual Mental Health Counselor at CRD. I will be providing clinical services, community outreach, and promoting awareness and prevention regarding mental health for all CRD students and families. I am a first-generation graduate from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I then pursued my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. Previously I served in different roles and backgrounds such as schools, mental health clinics, and nonprofits. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and I have a lab retriever mix named Bruno who I love hanging out with. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
Hola, mi nombre es Araceli y soy trabajadora social con licencia y me desempeño como consejera bilingüe de salud mental en CRD. Brindaré servicios clínicos, extensión comunitaria y promoveré la concientización y la prevención sobre la salud mental para todos los estudiantes y familias de CRD. Soy graduada de primera generación de la Universidad Texas A&M (¡WHOOP!) con una licenciatura en Psicología. Luego realicé mi Maestría en Trabajo Social en la Universidad de Texas en Arlington. Anteriormente desempeñé diferentes funciones y entornos, como escuelas, clínicas de salud mental y organizaciones sin fines de lucro.
