Overview:

Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep is a Catholic, college preparatory school for students from households of low to moderate income. Cristo Rey Dallas nurtures and challenges young women and men of all faiths to recognize and realize their full potential as they grow to love God, respect others and serve their community. Each student participates in the Corporate Work Study Program which offers a weekly work study experience for all four years.

We are seeking a dedicated, intellectually curious and mission driven individual who is open to growth and wants to be part of our community.  They will have the unique opportunity to help develop one of Dallas’s most promising educational options for young men and women from families with low to moderate income.  An ideal candidate should have an appreciation of the school’s mission and a commitment to the values of Catholic education and be comfortable modeling an active and inspiring faith life for all in the community.

Who YOU are:

Are you a relationship builder, a person who can talk to anyone, someone who is passionate about working with students?  As a member of the Corporate Work Study Team, the Corporate Partnership Manager reports to the Vice President of the Corporate Work Study Program and will oversee numerous job partner accounts and will be responsible for managing the relationship between the supervisors and CRD students.

February 5, 2024 or earlier

Purpose: 

The Corporate Partnership Manager provides Corporate Work Study job partners with a single point of contact for all matters related to the Corporate Work Study Program. This includes tactical responsibilities such as answering job partner requests and communicating with them about issues or events related to Cristo Rey. The team members will also have strategic responsibilities such as looking for ways to grow and deepen Cristo Rey’s relationship with each of its job partners.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all matters relating to Cristo Rey and its Corporate Work Study Program to an assigned group of job partners
  • Conduct Department of Labor mandated site visits with Job Partners to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulations for having 14-18 year olds working on site
  • Act as an information resource for job partners on all matters related to Cristo Rey Dallas, including answering any job partner questions about managing student staff
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Corporate Partnership Manager with the intention of having them renew and possibly growing the number of Cristo Rey students that they hire
  • Establish relationships with partner contacts at all levels, including senior executives as well as frontline managers 
  • Develop an understanding of each client’s business as well as their expectations of the Corporate Work Study Program
  • Conduct sales presentations with potential partners explaining to them the benefits of Cristo Rey Dallas’ Corporate Work Study Program.  
  • Follow up with prospects as needed
  • Assist new job partners with navigating the onboarding process, including contract negotiation, supervisor training and job description creation
  • Participate in the annual placement of student workers at job partners, providing insight of partner needs and job descriptions
  • Input data related to job sales and account management into Cristo Rey’s Salesforce CRM system included but not limited to maintaining invoicing details up to date and maintaining employments active
  • Plan and execute supervisor engagement events including onboarding, relevant training and stewardship events
  • Facilitate student onboarding to each individual account
  • Assist with facilitating Paid Work opportunities for students as they become available 
  • Assist internal operations as needed, this can include moderating a professional development class or assisting with check-in

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Cristo Rey Network and model.
  • Commitment to expanding the relationship between the Dallas businesses community and CRD
  • Account management, human resources, business development and/or sales experience preferred 
  • Strong written and communication skills; detail oriented; team player; ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Adept at building rapport and trust with people from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, including underrepresented urban youth and first-generation college students.
  • Understand and support the mission of Cristo Rey Dallas as a private, independent, Catholic school under the endorsement of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Regularly interact with students, parents, staff and visitors.
  • 70% Travel (locally) 
  • Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
