Theodore E. Frossard Jr. Memorial Fund
Honoring the Life of Theodore E. Frossard Jr.

Cristo Rey Dallas has established a scholarship fund in memory of Theodore E. Frossard Jr.
Theodore lived his entire life in Dallas. He graduated Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas and, on an Air Force ROTC scholarship, earned a degree in chemical engineering from University of Notre Dame in 1964. After graduation, Ted served in the United States Air Force rising to the rank of Captain. After his military service, he returned to Dallas and joined his father’s real estate business, Dallas East Realty Co. Theodore’s father started building houses in Pleasant Grove after the war in the early 1950’s. He moved his office to Pleasant Grove, up the street from Cristo Rey Dallas on the corner of Lake June and St. Augustine where it remains today. Theodore started working with his father in 1968 and continued the business and to develop throughout his life.
Ted was dedicated to serving the community in Pleasant Grove and was inspired by the mission of Cristo Rey Dallas (CRD). He requested that donations specifically be made to a scholarship fund that will assist with CRD’s mission of getting students “to and through college”. Through the Partnership Program, we pair students with donors who will witness the students grow over their 4 years at CRD spiritually, academically, and professionally. We are extremely appreciative of the impact Theodore Frossard has had on the Pleasant Grove community and his desire to assist our students and family in their pursuit of education.

CRD has established a memorial fund in honor of Maryann Mihalopoulos, beloved board member. She chaired our Grow the Grove event for several years, and she was a pivotal part of our Innovation Center Capital Campaign. Her passion for CRD was evident in her willingness to act as the head of the Search Committee for our new president and Strategic Planning Committee. Maryann was known for service not only within our community but throughout Dallas. We will greatly miss Maryann’s strength and kind-heartedness, and we will forever appreciate her impact on our community.
